Eola Hills Vin d'Epice is a Late Harvest Gewurztraminer. Wine Press NW says: "A delicious late-harvest wine with aromas of poached fruit and flavors of baked apples dripping with spicy honey. Hints of orange zest complete the wine. Won gold at the Dallas Morning News International Wine Competition."

Detailed Info, Previous Vintage Notes, Reviews:

Pressed from late harvest frozen Gewurztraminer grapes, the "Vin d'Epice" is unctuous, honeyed and spicy on the palate with flavors reminiscent of apricots and guavas. While the wine is very sweet, the firm acidity keeps it from being overly sweet.

Wine Spectator says: "Deep gold in color, with rich, sweet honey, orange, cream and floral-spicy aromas and flavors that linger on the silky finish. Drink now through 2008. 929 cases made. "(929 cases produced) rating 90
