Hogue Pinot Grigio 09/10
Hogue Pinot Grigio 09/10 -
Aromas of pear and white peach, with hints of almonds, vanilla and cherries. Flavors are similar: rich and soft, with pear and peach. Serve this wine with light pasta dishes, shrimp, chicken fettucine Alfredo, or anything you would pair with Chardonnay.

Washington is beginning to offer lovely Pinot gris at very very good prices. This wine is a classic example of the new trend, with lovely melon and pear notes in a refreshing quaffer with a clean, crisp finish. Just lovely for the price.
A switch of the name (from Pinot Gris) and tweak of the label (to red) turned this wine into one of Hogue's most popular, but the proof is in the bottle, as this delicious, fruit-driven white is loaded with aromas and flavors of white peaches, tropical fruits and a lush creaminess. Crisp acidity on the finish provides the perfect foil for seafood. Rated "Outstanding" by Wine Press Northwest magazine.
