Isenhower Cellars Bachelor Button Cabernet Sauvignon 05 is full of mocha coated rainier cherry flavors with currants and plum flavors on the edges and a hint of vanilla perfume. The Cabernet offers a very dense attack and a mid-palette with classic Washington acidity and soft tannins. Even at a young age I am impressed with the combination of the density of the fruit and the velvety nature of the tannins. This wine rocks and will continue to do so for at least 10 years. -winemaker notes 66% of the grapes in the Isenhhower Cellars Bachelor Button Cabernet Sauvignon are from Red Mountain (Kiona and Tapteil vineyards) and 33% from Bacchus Vineyard Block 9. Kiona Vineyard provides the muscular fruit, Tapteil is a rich elegance and Bacchus a highly structured and refined quality. The vines at Bacchus Block 9 were planted in 1972 making them some of the oldest vines in Washington State.
