A sweet gewurztraminer in a half bottle- fruit and candy flavors, not as concentrated as an ice wine but full of warm sweet fruit flavors.

From the winery: "Each year we seek to make the best possible late harvest wines by leaving selected acreage unpicked as long as possible. Usually by late October to early December the stems will no longer support the weight of the grape clusters and the grapes must be picked. This is approximately four to ten weeks after the normal harvest. The extra time on the vine increases sugar and concentrates the flavors. Kiona's Late Harvest wines have received accolades from around the world vintage after vintage. This Gewurztraminer was picked at about 28% sugar and is finished at 10% residual sugar and 10 % alcohol. The flavor and balance of this wine will satisfy even the most discriminating sweet tooth.

The grapes for this wine come from the Red Mountain area of the Yakima Valley.
