Lange Freedom Hill Chardonnay 08

Lange Estate Winery has been sourcing fruit from the Freedom Hill Vineyard since 1990 and began making its namesake Chardonnay in 2004. This single-vineyard wine is a stunning reflection of a beautiful vintage that demonstrates Oregon’s potential for producing world-class, cool-climate Chardonnay. It is 100% Dijon clone 76 and fermented in neutral French Oak, resulting in a richly textured wine with balanced acid structure.

The nose displays hints of lime blossom, Asian pear, honeydew, and vanilla while the round, rich palate bursts with dried passionfruit, starfruit, melon, and spice, finishing long and lush with crisp acidity.
