Deep blue-tinted garnet in color, the nose exhibits rich plum and black currant tones with a dash of floral pepper. A lingering note of citrus oil follows, along with a mixture of wild berries. With a little time, the scent of softer strawberry fruit also rises from the glass. This wine has layer upon layer of ripe fruit, more evocative of perfume than a typical Syrah.
