Nelms Road Cabernet is a the second label for Woodward Canyon, one of Walla Walla's founding wineries. Great aromas of cedar spice and black cherries, plenty of body and berry fruit on the palate, with a soft and approachable middle. Highly recommended value Cabernet.

From the winery: "A warmer vintage gave riper fruit with well balanced and deeply concentrated flavors of ripe black fruits. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks and the wine was punched down or pumped over three times per day. Aging took place in a blend of mostly newer French and older American barrels. This wine has developed greatly since bottling and it is a beautiful expression of Columbia Valley cabernet sauvignon. While early consumption is possible, I do believe continued improvement for five years or more will pay great dividends in pleasure."
