BANANAS FOSTER
(serves 2)
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. banana liqueur
2 medium bananas cut in half, lengthwise
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
¾ cup brown sugar
1 oz. rum
½ lemon
Melt butter in flambé pan or skillet. Add sugar and mix with
butter in pan. Squeeze in juice of one-half lemon. Remove from heat and
add banana liqueur. Heat again. Flambé with ½ to 1 oz.

Place bananas on dessert plates in circle around vanilla ice cream.
Spoon hot sauce over bananas and ice cream and serve.
