The previous vintage (2000) received 91 points from Wine Spectator. "This monster Zin at 16.8% alcohol is one of our most distinct wines of the vintage. It is at once huge with incredible fruit flavors yet it has absolutely delightful fragrance and textures. Lonnie Wright provided us with all of the Zinfandel from Harold Haake’s Hillside Vineyard in The Dalles. We also added a touch of Syrah from Lewis Vineyard also in The Dalles, which is also meticulously farmed by Lonnie.
