Black Cap La Luz Pinot noir

Both the La Luz Pinot noir and Chardonnay were a one-time-only special vintage to raise funds to help with medical expenses for Guadalupe Hernandez, wife of Eyrie's cellarmaster, Julio Hernandez. Lupe has had her surgery and is recovering nicely.

"La Luz" is Spanish for "The Light". Jason named the wine, inspired by Guadalupe's name - he used the traditional image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, surrounded by beams of light, to draw the label as well.
