Sitting with my wife in Kyoto, Japan & enjoying this wine; 2003 Croft PN { find the tasting notes from Avalon to be in the 'hood }. I had asked Marcus to recommend some 2003 wines from my cellar to make up a case to bring here.. and DOMO ARIGATO Marcus- this is very pleasant with pancetta & sweet green peas in Amatriciana sauce, my wife's great garlic bread and tomatoes drizzled with balsamic, olive oil and shaved pecorino.... A small winery with what I believe to be a big future! |
