| Spice is nice. (3/5) | Sep 2, 2006 | Jared Pearson | Bend US | |
| First time for this vintage. Deep smell of cherries dominant the nose but there is also a subtle expression of spice at the end. Kings Ridge has brought some good vintages in the past. This one was average. Very drinkable with a lighter meat like pork or a milder red pasta sauce. Would let the wine breathe a few minutes before drinking. I like that Rex Hill has gone to the screw top. Pinot is meant to be drunk soon and this really avoids corking problems. Overall, 3 stars! | ||||
