My wife and I saw this muscat on sale in a grocery store. We love Saracco's moscato d'asti. So when we see that this wine was inspired by the italian's moscato, we thought we give it a try. So we got ourselves two bottles. We had friends over last Friday and we popped a bottle before dinner. Before long, we finished both bottles. None of us are really heavy wine drinkers, just your typical social drinker. But overall, we all agree that the wine is very easy on the palate. The soft, fruity aroma just flows deep into you. The only perhaps negative comment was that the alcohol level (at about 6%) is a bit low - it resembles more of the wine cooler than true wine. Nonetheless, for those of us who drinks wine for its aroma (and not alcohol), we were all very impressed. So impressed that the next day, I went back to the store and got ourselves 2 cases. Given the holiday seasons is coming, I am pretty sure we will burn through these 24 bottles in no time. |
