This wine has a very noticable "artificial sweetener" taste like Saccharin that sits right in the middle and is always present. After a while, it tends to give you a taste of bitter apple seeds and gets annoying real fast. Not something I would expect from a $20 bottle of wine, when there are so many wines under $10 that are much better than this one. Covey Run, Hogue, Ress, Twisted River, Fetzer all have much better Rieslings and all are under $20. |
