Rex Hill Vineyard was founded in 1982 by Paul Hart and Jan Jacobsen. Winemaker, Lynn Penner-Ash, joined the team in 1988 and was made president in 1993. Lynn left Rex Hill in 2001 and assistant winemaker Aron Hess was promoted to winemaker.
Rex Hill is one of the 10 largest wineries in Oregon and consistently produces award winning wines; including, pinot noir, pinot gris and chardonnay
