Roots Leroy Pinot noir 09

2009 Wine Advocate - 92 points - The 2009 Pinot Noir Leroy Vineyard does a fine job of melding the elegance of the vintage with some extra depth, concentration, and complexity. It will continue to blossom for another 1-2 year and should provide enjoyment through 2021. - Jay Miller

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes

Unique and lasting. Intriguing, beautiful incense and dark berry scents expand in the intense fresh blackberry and black currant flavors. White pepper weaves into spicy, silky tannins on the long, strikingly fresh finish. Super-tiny production and super-limited: 96 cases made. We likes the Leroy!

Made with grapes from self-rooted 35 year old Wadenswil vines, this is truly "Old Vine" Oregon pinot.
