Roots Melon de Borgougne 08 - 9-1-09 - At the Carlton AVA tasting Monday in downtown Portland, this was the standout of the event for me. The scent is all peach,citrus,and minerals. Flavors open with a bit of sweetness, peaches and nectarines. After that initial impression, citrus, white flowers, minerals, and sweet spices combine into a delectably complex mélange. - Jean
