Grapes: Sourced exclusively from the famed Klipsun Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA. As with all our wines, the grapes were hand-picked; harvest weather was perfect. A Cabernet Sauvignon base enhanced with a small portion of Merlot.

Sensory: A powerful, intense Cabernet offering aromas of ripe red plum, cedar, and vanilla. By mouth there is great depth and length of fruit laid on substantial structure, surrounded by vanilla, graham, chocolate and smoky notes. A typical vintage of moderate acidity, huge fruit flavor and ageable structure.

Cellar Notes: Bottled in July 2003 after aging in our cellars for 23 months in a mix of French and Russian barrels. Will benefit from medium to long-term cellaring, gaining additional integration and flavor development over 2-5 years. Enjoy this flagship Cabernet from one of the best vineyards in the State for years to come.
