Snoqualmie Syrah Reserve

This is a rich Syrah, bursting with big black fruits in the mouth -- black plum, blueberry and blackberry. Sweet oak notes add complexity to this wine. Soft, luscious tannins linger beautifully on the finish.

Syrah plantings have increased dramatically in Washington State as the varietal thrives in the region's unique growing conditions. Snoqualmie's Reserve program is designed to showcase the best of the best. Crushed grapes were fermented on the skins in open top fermenters, which gives the wine its rich color and luscious tannins. The wine was then aged for 19 months in French and American oak barrels to add toastiness, and complexity.
