Review:
2009 Wine Spectator - 90 points - Focused, with a moderate grip of tannins around a supple core of black olive-accented black cherry flavors, lingering intently on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Drink now through 2016. 2,000 cases made.
2007 Vintage Tasting Notes
This New World-styled Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend offers intense aromas of tobacco leaf and blackberry on the nose, with hints of rose petal and green peppercorn. The wine is dry, but with a creamy texture, and is soft and intense and packed with fine-grained tannins. The finish is full of vanilla and orange extract. This is a wine to cellar. - the winery
2006 Vintage Tasting Notes
2006 Wine Spectator - 92 points - Rich and chewy, with a brightness to the cherry and mulberry fruit that balances well against hints of wet earth and cedar as the finish persists expressively. There's nice balance and length. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and others. Best from 2010 through 2016. 3,000 cases made. - H.S.
