Review:
Walla Walla Vintners has a well-deserved reputation for consistently producing some of Washington State's finest Cab Franc. This 15th vintage is no exception. Spice with beautiful depth and a stunning long finish make this an unforgettable wine.
2009 Vintage Tasting Notes
The rum-dipped cigar nose takes you to a chocolate mousse mid-palate with a finish of fresh vanilla bean. It is a perfectly pitched wine that pairs wonderfully with roasted wild salmon on cedar plank and a side of scalloped potatoes, heavy cream, Gruyere cheese and nutmeg. - the winery
2008 Vintage Tasting Notes
The nose reminds us of the perfume you smell while torching the sugar crust for a Creme Brulee. The midpalate oozes with the flavor of toffee in a Heath Bar and has a lingering finish of dark chocolate covered Bing cherries. Sauteed boneless chicken breast with tarragon cream sauce or saut?ed halibut steaks with hollandaise sauce served with fresh peas, shallots and porcini mushrooms with steamed Chinese black rice will pair well with this Franc. - the winery
