Review:

Dark ruby in color, the 2010 Pinot Noir Terres Basses shows off handsome aromas of chocolate, tanned leather, stewed plums, cassis and cigar box. Extremely well-balanced and structured, the body sports exceptional volume and concentration from beginning to end. A persistent and gratifying finish of black licorice, blackberry and earth complete this outstanding 2010 effort. One of the best of the vintage, this wine should age well for 10+ years, and should be cellared for 1 to 2 years from release. - the winery

2009 Vintage Tasting Notes

Dark ruby in color. Aromas include dark blue and black fruits with hints of cedar, cigar box and earth. Flavors include tart cherries, black forest fruitcake, star anise and fig. Cellar for up to 12 years.

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes

Aromas evolve from wood spice, cedar, coffee and vanilla into Christmas spices, doug fir, cassis and a touch of citrus. The palate promises many years of deepening texture and complexity yet already offers rich black fruits, structured tannins and well-integrated acidity. The finish suggests blue fruit, rose petals and pepper. Age this wine for 10+ years. - the winery
