Pinot noir
Dundee Hills Estate 2009

$49.50 in any 12 bottle order
$55.00 retail

Wine Spectator: "Silky, subtle and expressive, offering a lovely, transparent mouthful of cherry, blackberry and cinnamon flavors that remain aloft and lively through the long finish against well-buffed tannins. Drink now through 2019. - H.S.

The elegant...the classy...Ayoub's Estate Pinot noir is quintessential Dundee Hills: refined, silky, seamless. Open up the 2009, try it over several hours, and it's like a jazz quartet trading fours -- pretty red fruit on tenor sax, the melange of spices, orange essence, and maple on piano, structure on bass, and minerality on drums. All have their flourishes, their moments of brilliance, that build in intensity and take you back to the top.

While this fantastic Pinot noir is starting to show well now, its complexity is better suited to drinking on day two or three, or cellaring for a few years. - Marcus

Evening Land Vineyards
Summum Chardonnay 2009

$104.36 in any 12 bottle order
$115.95 retail

Wine Spectator: Elegant, refined and racy, offering a taut mouthful of mineral, slate and chalk notes around a zingy core of lemon and quince flavors that don't quit as the finish soars. Seems almost reticent, but the flavors keep hovering with amazing delicacy. Drink now through 2020. From Oregon. - H.S.

The Summum Chardonnay 09 is superior to the La Source Chardonnay 09. Summum adds more voluminous texture, more defined acidity, more intensity. It is the highest point in Evening land's line-up. - Marcus

Summum Pinot noir 2009

$104.36 in any 12 bottle order
$115.95 retail

Wine Spectator: Delicate, ethereal style is light on its feet, its red berry and Earl Grey tea flavors gliding easily through the long, expressive finish. Gets more interesting with each sip, finishing harmonious and elegant. Drink now through 2015. - H.S.

Evening Land Vineyards
La Source Pinot noir 2009

$53.95 in any 12 bottle order
$59.95 retail

Wine Spectator: Light and tangy, with hints of blueberry and plum behind the rasp- berry and slate flavors up front, lingering nicely on the delicate finish. Drink now through 2019. - H.S.

The La Source is attractive, even seductive while it's fresh, structured, and balanced. Personally, I think it's a better wine than the 2008. I'm charmed by the red fruits that fan out in all directions, the ribbon of minerals that adds verve, the dusting of spices and herbs that make me smile and think of Seven Springs Vineyard. - Marcus

Evening Land Vineyards
Seven Springs Estate Pinot noir 2009

$38.66 in any 12 bottle order
$42.95 retail

Wine Spectator: Crisp, with a layer of gritty tannins around berry and plum flavors, with a nice mineral character to the finish. Best from 2013 through 2019. - H.S.

The nose is packed with wonderful red fruit, touches of exotic flowers and earth. The initial splash is signature 09 - read delicious - with well-balanced fruit that will appeal to the whole spectrum of Pinot drinkers. Following is a sumptuous mid-palate that echoes off the roof of your mouth without being overwhelming. The finish is lush with a puff pastry creaminess that I completely dig. The Evening Land Estate Pinot noir 09 has a little something for everyone. - Andy
