We've done it again. A few weeks ago we told you that Rasa's Creative Impulse was the next hot thing. Fast forward a few weeks, and it hits the big time with a 95 point score and "HOT WINE" in today's Wine Spectator Insider.

Lithe, supple and full of personality, with floral, green tea and soy sauce overtones adding zip and depth to the disarmingly lovely plum and currant fruit. The finish lingers easily against well-buffed tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Best from 2013 through 2020. - H.S.

A remarkable wine and a completely different take on a Dubrul Vineyard Cab than I've ever had. Massive but very complex, there's so much here. Delicate violet floral on the nose, an array of fruits and spices in the middle of the taste, and a remarkably expressive and balanced finish that lasts til eternity, it seems. One of Washington's best Syrahs for several years running, the 2009 La Cote Rousse is explosive. Peppered, smoked bacon melds with rich black and blue berries, accented by Asian spices. This is dense and brooding - I recommend cellaring for at least 4 years. - Marcus

Very sweet in the nose, with big black cherries, smoke, floral spice and an earthy/truffle note.
