Robert Parker's Wine Advocate published their annual review of Oregon wines yesterday. Of the 533 wines rated, we have many of reviewer Jay Miller's highest rated 2009 Oregon Pinot noirs, including his top-rated, 96 point Pinot.

Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Pinot Noir White Rose Vineyard Whole Cluster was made from the Vineyard's Block 1 (planted in 1980) using 100% whole clusters. It was aged for 15 months in 100% neutral French oak. It offers up a sexy, bordering on kinky, perfume of exotic spices, incense, floral notes, and assorted red fruits that jump from the glass. On the palate it deftly marries power and elegance in a complex wine that lasts for over 60-seconds in its pure finish. It is one of the wine's of the vintage. Old vines, low yields (in the range of 1.5 to 1.75 tons per acre), and a willingness to stretch the envelope have made White Rose Estate one of the premier producers of American Pinot Noir."
