Oregon Wine: Cameron Winery Values

Cameron values substance over style, which might help explain the awesome wine values they gift us with each year. Here’s their biggest value release: Willamette Valley Pinot, Chardonnay, and Pinot Bianco!

Cameron Willamette Valley Pinot noir 2011
$17.95 in any 12 bottle order or Build a Case*

Attention! This dynamite value Pinot will be gone in a flash. Last year, it sold out in 20 minutes so we’ll aim for a new record. Dark cherry and blackberry, wild and energetic, with subtle violet and earth notes. One of the true steals in all of the Willamette Valley, this includes fruit from the vaunted Abbey Ridge Vineyard.

Cameron “Giovanni” Pinot Bianco 2012
in any 12 bottle order or Build a Case*

Giovanni has a new twist this year, owing to a little John-Paul-experimentation. This zippy Pinot blanc is filled with citrus and apple, with a finish that John describes as “cidery.” Can you dig it? We can. It is a spring/summer staple for us.

Cameron Willamette Valley Chardonnay NV
in any 12 bottle order or Build a Case*

A crazy value. From some of the best Chardonnay vines in Oregon (30+ year-old Abbey Ridge!), this is juice that didn’t quite fit into the Dundee Hills Chard. Lemony, creamy goodness, racy acidity, a touch of floral spice. P.S. It’s 100% 2011, but we can thank John’s penny-pinching ways for using labels that are already printed!
