Review:
The wine that is really a “snapshot” of our entire vineyard – which ultimately reflects the blending of the flavors and textures produced by the varying soil types, vine ages, clonal-selections and sun-exposures from our 52-acre vineyard. The wine itself is packed with succulent, forward black fruits with just the slightest hint of vanilla and spice. - the winery
2009 Vintage Tasting Notes
The 09 Estate Pinot is driven by dark fruits with intense aromas as well as hints of spice. Flavors include black cherries, rhubarb, dried herbs and baking spices. Approachable now this wine will improve with age.
2008 Vintage Tasting Notes
2008 Wine Spectator - 91 points - Dense and focused, with a distinct minerality to the cherry and
cassis flavors, which keep dancing lightly through the refined,
harmonious finish. Needs time to soften the edges. Best from 2013
through 2020. - H.S.
2006 Vintage Tasting Notes
Always one of the best value Estate-bottled Pinot noirs from Oregon. The 2006 is a little more forward than typical Witness Tree wines, making it perfect for drinking now or over the next few years.
